The irresistible new standalone novel from No. 1 bestselling author Sophie Kinsella.
I love you . . . but what if I can't love your life?
Ava is sick of online dating. She's always trusted her own instincts over an algorithm, anyway, and she wants a break from it all. So when she signs up to a semi-silent, anonymous writing retreat in glorious Italy, love is the last thing on her mind.
Until she meets a handsome stranger. . . All she knows is that he's funny, he's kind and - she soon learns - he's great in bed. He's equally smitten, and after a whirlwind, intoxicating affair, they pledge their love without even knowing each other's real names.
But when they return home, reality hits. They're both driven mad by each other's weird quirks and annoying habits, from his eccentric, naked-sauna-loving family to her terribly behaved, shirt-shredding dog. As disaster follows disaster, it seems that while they love each other, they just can't love each other's lives. Can they overcome their differences to find one life, together?
'Left me giddy with laughter. I loved it' Jojo Moyes

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Sophie Kinsella is one of our favourite romcom writers for good reason. There’s a consistency to her feel-good tales that’s almost unrivalled, and Love Your Life showcases the author at her crowd-pleasing best. Our leads here, Ava and Matt, meet on a semi-silent writers’ retreat in a beautifully romantic part of Italy where—free of details such as each others’ occupations, personalities and names—they embark upon a lust-fuelled affair. Naturally, things become rather more complicated once back on British soil, as the pair discover that they might be the least compatible couple in dating history. It’s great testament to the warmth with which Kinsella writes her characters that we’re very quickly left rooting for Ava and Mark in a sparkling opposites-attract comedy.

*Irritation Overload *
This started slowly and as the book went the characters grew more unlikeable. Ava a dreamer seemed to think her life was the best life possible and that gave her the authority to call others out who disagree and she needs a good dose of reality.
Matt, well where to start he is involved with the family business of dolls and doll houses.
They both met at a writing retreat Ava in dreamland, Matt more realistic they get together on the retreat and return home and real life is not as they both imagine.
Things take a turn when their differences meet boiling point. Harold the dog with the mind of his own, that’s another story.
The ending was a complete turnaround and unbelievable and the incident with Harold, well, I almost did not finish it!
Enjoyable read
