When the love of her life shows up with a girlfriend, Tia decides it's time to put herself out there.

Expectations of dating apps are low, so it's a surprise when she instantly connects with handsome photographer Nate. He's everything she's looking for; he makes her feel safe, seen, and desired.

Tia assumes they're on the same page - the only catch? They're yet to have The Talk.

In a generation that's normalised competing over who cares the least, can Tia overcome her fears and lay her cards on the table, in the pursuit of something real?

Such a good read!

This book, the author captures an essence of what it means to be young, black and living in London so beautifully.

I enjoyed being part of the dialogue between Tia, Luca and Hannah.

I related so much to Tia, I felt her frustrations and her joy.

Worth the read

I absolutely loved reading The Situationship. I knew I will love it when I read the synopsis and it met my expectations.

So as the title goes it’s basically about Tia and her situationship experiences.

How would you feel when the one man you have dreaming about and being talking to walks in with his girlfriend (you didn’t know about) to a Welcome dinner you had organised ?

Or how would you feel when this other guy was doing everything right but he wasn’t on the same page with you?

I love how the book centres on Tia’s friends; Luca and Hannah and constant support they gave to her through her situationship and even through all the drama she faced at work. They never made her feel bad and were always there for her..

Too many lessons and how Tia weaved through all the situations

Tia chose herself and her happiness and I loved that..

And let me say I absolutely loved the acknowledgments section of this book..

it is worth all the read and good work by Taylor
